Admission is far below the norm for patches in the area, but we can guarantee the fun and memories will be incredible! You can also visit the farm store to purchase produce. You can always visit them at the Warrensburg Farmer’s Market located in Warrensburg’s historic downtown on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Central Missouri Speedway-Home of the ‘Mighty Modifieds’, 5 NE V Hwy, Warrensburg


Weekly racing on this high banked ⅜ mile clay oval track located 3.5 miles north of Warrensburg, will have you on the edge of your seat. CMS is open April-September with races held on Saturday nights.

Johnson County Historical Society Campus, 302 N. Main, Warrensburg

The campus is home to the Mary Miller Smiser Heritage Library and Museum, Culp Building, and the 1838-1871 County Courthouse. The courthouse where the Old Drum Trial took place, has been carefully restored in its original location. In the trial’s closing arguments, George Graham Vest’s Eulogy of the Dog made the trial known around the world by serving as the inspiration for the phrase, Man’s Best Friend.

Knob Noster State Park, 873 SE 10, Knob Noster


This park is a tranquil retreat of open oak woodland with a few patches of prairie along both sides of Clearfork Creek. It’s a place for anglers to wet a line, for mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders to get some trail time, and for families to spend quality time together. Kayaks are available to rent. Programs are held throughout the year.

Powell Gardens is known for its seven botanical gardens, events, and exhibitions. It is the only public garden to feature more than three structures by renowned American architect E. Fay Jones. Jones is known for becoming an expert in the integration of architecture with nature allowing the building to seamlessly blend with its surroundings. The gardens is open year-round. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes and allow time to enjoy a meal at Cafe Thyme. If weather allows, the fountains will be on for little ones to enjoy a run through!

This museum is for all ages. Featuring thousands of toys, numerous arcade games and more, be warned you’ll lose track of time visiting this museum.

Rock Island Spur of Katy Trail State Park, Spearheads are in Leeton and Chilhowee

A 47.5-mile trail that stretches through the heart of west central Missouri. It provides an adventure for bicyclists, hikers and equestrian users who are seeking an avenue to enjoy nature, explore a part of rural history and have an enjoyable recreational opportunity. The trail is built on the former corridor of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad.

You’ll find it all at Twisters 35,000 square feet facility including programs that’ll have you moving, top-of-the-line batting cages, video game arcade and outdoor picnic area. Escape the Burg, Twisters new addition will open summer 2018. The escape room is geared to adult age participants.

UCM Bowling Center, 511 S. Holden, Warrensburg


The Union Bowling Center is a family-friendly 10-lane bowling alley. If you catch the alley at night, you’ll catch Glo-Bowl! During this special time, the lights go out, pins light up and the music blasts. This crowd favorite is held Friday and Saturday nights after 8 p.m. If you start to get hangry while bowling, don’t worry. Steak N’ Shake is in the building just a few feet away.

UCM’s Gallery of Art & Design, 217 E. Clark, Warrensburg

The gallery hosts numerous events including Gallery Kids on various Saturday mornings. Exhibitions are held throughout the year. A trip to the gallery is easy with its convenient location and hours!

UCM Student Recreation and Wellness Center, UCM Campus


The UCM SRWC offers more than 1,000 square feet of vertical climbing and bouldering. The minimum weight is 22 lbs. and maximum weight is 220 lbs. They offer special kid harnesses for smaller climbers. Special hours are offered for the public. Give them a call for more information.

WPR’s park system includes 7+ parks and the Warrensburg Community Center.
The Community Center includes an indoor pool, gym, fitness area, meeting rooms and the Warrensburg Senior Center. Recreation programs are offered throughout the year.
