Hazel Hill Lake

The Missouri Department of Conservation  71-acre lake was constructed 1987-1988, stocked with fish in 1989. Driving directions: Five miles northwest of Warrensburg on Highway 13, go three miles west on Route OO. Hazel Hill Lake is a 71-acre lake with a disabled accessible fishing dock, parking lot, and privy located in Johnson County.

Retrograde Charitable Toy & Video Game Museum, 112 W. Gay, Warrensburg

This museum houses thousands of toys, arcade games and more.

McClure Archives & University Museum, 1470 Kirkpatrick Library (UCM), Warrensburg

Collections and artifacts spanning the globe from the Nance Middle East Collection and Guatemalan textiles to the university’s history are stored at the McClure Archives and Museum.

Art on Loan Sculptures, Various locations in Warrensburg

Four pieces of work are distributed in various locations throughout the Warrensburg community-Blind Boone Park, Warrensburg City Hall, Compton Park near the Warrensburg Police Station and intersection of Broad and Montserrat street.

Old Drum Statue, Johnson County Courthouse 300 N. Holden, Warrensburg

The monument to Johnson County’s beloved four-legged friend includes the words of Vest’s eulogy. In Sept. 1958, after a coordinated effort by numerous organizations and dog lovers throughout the country Reno Gastaldi’s statue was placed in lawn of the current Johnson County Courthouse.
