Spirit Trail, Hale Lake Road continue east on Hwy DD to Whiteman Air Force Base. The trail is a four-mile-long, ten foot wide asphalt and aggregate trail connecting the Warrensburg, Knob Noster and WAFB communities. 660-747-2112

Knob Noster State Park, 873 SE 10, Knob Noster, MO 65336.  Knob Noster State Park is a tranquil retreat of open oak woodland with a few patches of prairie along both sides of the meandering Clearfork Creek. It’s a place for fishermen to wet a line, for mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders to get some trail time, and for families to spend quality time together. The park is a state-operated, public recreation area covering 3,934 acres.  660-563-2463

Rock Island Spur, runs through the rural areas of Chilhowee and Leeton. The Rock Island Spur of Katy Trail State Park is a 47.5-mile trail that stretches through the heart of west-central Missouri. The trail provides an adventure for bicyclists, hikers and equestrian users who are seeking an avenue to enjoy nature, explore a part of rural Missouri history and have an enjoyable recreational experience.

Warrensburg Parks and Recreation, 445 E. Gay, Warrensburg. WPR offers nine beautiful parks covering more than 400 acres, miles of hiking trails, a skate park, dog park, eight tennis courts, six playgrounds, seven ball fields, soccer fields, Nassif Aquatic Center and the Warrensburg Community Center which features a full size gymnasium with six basketball goals, a walking track, indoor pool, seven meeting rooms, and a fitness center. 660-747-7178

Mules National Golf Club, Pertle Springs-5 PAR DR, Warrensburg. Mules National Golf Club is home to the Keth Memorial Golf Course, Audrey J. Walton Clubhouse, and Traditions Restaurant located in Pertle Springs of Warrensburg, Missouri. Keth Memorial has concrete cart paths, Zoysia greens, an island green on the 18th hole, and several membership options. 660-543-4182

Royal Oaks Golf Course, 985 SE 130, Knob Noster MO 65336. Owned and operated by the USAF, now open to the public, is located 1/2 block from Whiteman AFB, Missouri. A beautiful 18 hole course with a challenging layout. Royal Oaks features 350 acres of rolling hills and wooded areas and provides the golfer with a quiet, serene place to get away from the noise. 660-687-5572
